I remember someone posting that they purchased an E46 M3 that was a little beat up and SMG I think. I have a few questions!

nah, his e46 is too nice to gut.

I may have the opportunity to do this with a car at my dads friend's shop. Owner can't afford to fix it so it's just been sitting there. Supposedly some minor front end damage and I think transmission issues (manual swap most likely what I'd do). If I can get it for the right price I'm gonna fix it up OEM+ and use it as a weekend car or go all out and turn it into an autox/track car depending how bad the damage is.
